Stratford Academy, a PK-12 co-educational independent school in Macon, GA, is seeking applicants for the full-time, 10-month position of Middle School Latin teacher to begin on August 1, 2026.    The Middle School at Stratford is seeking an engaging, passionate, and innovative Latin teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates should be able to teach courses across grades 6-8 based on the needs of the World Languages department. Furthermore, ideal candidates should be able to help develop and implement a foundational course for all sixth graders that emphasizes inter-disciplinary applications of learning Latin. Additionally, ideal candidates should be prepared to develop and teach Latin language and Roman culture classes in grades 7 and 8 that build upon their foundation.
