The Boyce L. Ansley School

The Boyce L Ansley School is a tuition-free, private school for children who have or are currently experiencing homelessness.  Our mission is to provide a complete academic program and collaborative family supports that empower children and families to thrive beyond the circumstances of homelessness. We see in our community that children and their educational futures are too often the collateral damage of homelessness. At The Boyce L. Ansley School, we are finding new ways of meeting the needs of children and their families who find themselves in difficult circumstances and we know it all begins with education. We are currently Kindergarten- Sixth grade with 1 class per-grade, and will expand to K-7 in the 2026-2027 school year. Our final year of growth will be the 2027-2028 school year, with our model being completed at K-8 whole child and whole family support. The Boyce L. Ansley School is an accredited institution through the Georgia Accrediting Commission, a member school of The Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools, and is a member-candidate school working towards an additional accreditation through the Southern Association of Independent Schools & Cognia.
