Objective

The Enrollment and Marketing Director manages the entire student lifecycle, from recruitment and admissions to retention and financial aid, while developing strategic marketing to boost brand awareness and enrollment. Developing sustainable relationships with potential, incoming, and current families is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Enrollment Planning: Develop and execute strategies to meet enrollment targets, tracking trends and managing the admissions funnel.

  • Marketing & Branding: Promote the school through digital marketing, social media, content creation, and targeted ads.

  • Admissions Management: Oversee recruitment, inquiry management, family interviews, student visit days, tours, open houses, and student onboarding.

  • Retention & Financial Aid: Work with leadership on retention strategies and manage the tuition assistance process.

  • Data Analysis: Use CRM systems and data tools to monitor, report on, and improve enrollment efforts.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, student information systems, and graphic design software.

  • Ability to work competently from a DEIJ framework and incorporate reflective practice to counter implicit bias in the admissions process.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to collaborate with families, children, teachers, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in Montessori education and willingness to promote the philosophy.

  • Experience in admissions, enrollment management, or marketing, preferably within independent schools.

  • Strong storytelling ability to convey school value and build relationships with prospective families.
