Cannon School seeks a dynamic and student-centered Upper School Math Teacher to join our community beginning August 2026. We are looking for an experienced educator who can teach a range of high school mathematics courses, including Geometry through Precalculus, with the ability to teach Statistics and/or Calculus considered a plus.
The ideal candidate embraces innovative instructional practices, values strong relationships with students, and is committed to creating meaningful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Our Upper School faculty foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment while challenging students to think critically, build strong mathematical foundations, and develop confidence as lifelong learners.

Cannon School is a JrK through Grade 12 independent school located in the greater Charlotte area. In the twenty years that we have been at our present location, the physical campus has grown to include new facilities for performing arts, athletics, language labs and makerspaces.
