Director of Finance

Job Description

The Director of Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for driving financial performance and ensuring the operational sustainability of the organization. Serving as a strategic thought partner to the Head of School and a key liaison to the Board, the Director of Finance will play an important role in developing the long-range strategic goals of the organization. As a unique school and non-profit, this role will grow and expand its reach and impact over the years as the organization continues to grow. The Director of Finance must have excellent communication skills and the ability to translate detailed information into clear, concise, and accessible messaging and reports for non-financial stakeholders.

This leader combines technical excellence with values-driven judgment—capable of overseeing day-to-day financial and administrative operations while building the systems and infrastructure required for long-term stability, growth, and impact. As the school continues to scale, this role is expected to evolve into a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position.
