Marist School, a co-educational, college-preparatory, Catholic school, seeks a high school social studies/history teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Teaching candidates must have a degree in the field or equivalent, along with the ability and willingness to contribute to the athletic or extra-curricular life of the school. Experience teaching AP World History and AP Macroeconomics is preferred. This full-time faculty member is hired by the Principal and reports additionally to the Social Studies Department Chair and Academic Dean.

Marist enrolls approximately 1,100 boys and girls annually in grades 7th - 12th. It is owned and operated by the Society of Mary (more commonly known as the Marists), a religious congregation of priests and brothers founded in France in 1836. Marist School was founded in downtown Atlanta in 1901 and is the oldest Catholic school in the Atlanta area. The school moved to its current site on Ashford Dunwoody Road in 1962.
