Ravenscroft is seeking a Lower School Strings Instructor in the Fine Arts Department. This is a full-time, exempt position beginning August 12, 2026.
This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced string educator who believes deeply in the musical potential of young learners and is committed to building a joyful, literacy-based strings program for students in Grades K–5. The Lower School Strings Instructor will teach classroom strings, direct the 4th and 5th Grade Orchestra, and collaborate closely with the MS/US Strings Director to ensure strong curricular alignment across divisions.

This role is based on Ravenscroft’s campus and includes classroom, rehearsal, and performance spaces. The position requires the ability to move throughout campus, lift and rack chairs and stands, conduct ensembles for extended periods, and communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
