The Opportunity
Kingsminster Ponte Vedra, an independent K–8 Christian school opening in August 2027, seeks an exceptional Founding Director of Enrollment & Community Engagement to serve as a key leader during the school’s founding launch phase. This is a rare opportunity to help build a mission-driven independent school from the ground up. As the school’s primary admissions and enrollment leader, the Founding Director of Enrollment & Community Engagement will play a central role in:
- cultivating relationships with prospective families
- communicating the mission, vision, and distinctives of the school
- helping achieve the school’s founding enrollment goals, including a target opening enrollment of approximately 250 students
- and establishing Kingsminster’s presence throughout Ponte Vedra and greater Jacksonville
The ideal candidate is a highly relational, organized, and entrepreneurial leader who is energized by the opportunity to help launch and grow a new school community. This role requires warmth, professionalism, strategic thinking, and strong execution skills, along with a deep commitment to Christian education and whole-child formation. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-moving launch environment and demonstrate flexibility, initiative, sound judgment, and a willingness to help build systems and processes from the ground up. As a founding leader of the school, the Founding Director of Enrollment & Community Engagement will help shape not only enrollment growth, but also the culture, community, and public identity of Kingsminster during its launch phase.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Enrollment Leadership & Admissions Strategy
- Lead and manage the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment and matriculation
- Serve as the primary guide and point of contact for prospective families throughout the admissions journey, building trust through clear communication, responsiveness, and professionalism
- Chair the Admission Committee and oversee communication with families regarding admissions decisions
- Conduct tours, informational meetings, and family conversations that clearly and compellingly communicate the mission, vision, and educational distinctives of Kingsminster
- Develop strong relationships with prospective families and provide thoughtful guidance as they discern the right educational fit for their children
- Ensure timely follow-up and consistent communication with prospective families throughout each stage of the admissions process
- Maintain accurate and timely admissions records within the school’s CRM system, ensuring consistent documentation and communication throughout the admissions process
- Track admissions data, enrollment trends, and movement throughout the admissions funnel to support strategic decision-making and enrollment goals
- Partner closely with the Founding Executive Director and marketing support teams to execute enrollment strategies and achieve enrollment benchmarks
- Help develop and refine admissions systems, workflows, and processes appropriate for a growing launch-phase school
2. Community Engagement & School Visibility
- Help cultivate and engage a community of founding families who will serve as ambassadors, advocates, and culture-builders during the launch of the school
- Serve as a visible, credible, and relational representative of Kingsminster throughout the Ponte Vedra and greater Jacksonville communities
- Build and cultivate relationships with local churches, preschools, community organizations, and prospective families to strengthen awareness of and trust in the school
- Help develop strategic community partnerships and referral networks that support long-term enrollment growth and institutional visibility
- Coordinate and support admissions events, open houses, information sessions, and community gatherings with professionalism, warmth, and strong attention to detail
- Represent Kingsminster consistently and effectively at community events, school meetings, and prospective family engagements
- Help cultivate a welcoming and mission-aligned school culture that reflects the values and vision of Kingsminster before the campus officially opens
- Support the execution of local marketing initiatives, family communication campaigns, and community outreach efforts in partnership with Outreach Education’s marketing team
3. Mission Alignment & Family Partnership
- Clearly and compellingly communicate the mission, vision, educational philosophy, and culture of Kingsminster to prospective families
- Help families understand the distinctive value of Christ-centered, whole-child education and how it shapes the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and relational formation of students
- Build authentic and trusting relationships with families while helping them thoughtfully discern alignment with the mission and values of the school
- Represent Kingsminster with warmth, professionalism, discernment, and institutional integrity in all interactions with prospective and current families
4. Strategic Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the Founding Executive Director, Outreach Education enrollment and marketing partners, and communications support teams to advance enrollment strategy, support the successful launch of the school, and strengthen family engagement and school culture
- Contribute to the development and refinement of admissions systems, enrollment strategies, family communication processes, and launch-phase operational workflows
- Help develop and implement reenrollment and retention strategies that strengthen long-term family engagement and institutional stability
- Provide regular reporting and strategic insight to school leadership and enrollment partners regarding enrollment progress, prospective family feedback, market trends, and emerging admissions opportunities or challenges
- Participate actively in launch planning conversations and help ensure strong alignment between admissions, communications, and community engagement efforts

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Relevant experience in admissions, enrollment management, independent schools, education, hospitality, communications, or related fields strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities with professionalism and responsiveness
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for admissions events, school functions, and community engagement opportunities
- Demonstrated commitment to Christ-centered education and the ability to represent the mission, vision, and educational philosophy of Kingsminster with authenticity, wisdom, and professionalism
