Position Summary: Provide administrative support to the Head of Upper School and teaching staff, monitor and support student behavior and attendance, and oversee student-life programming. Primary Responsibilities: 1.    Assists Head of Upper School in the overall administration of the division.  These include but are not limited to systemizing faculty duties, community time events, semester exams, Awards Day and other formal ceremonies, and weekly assembly itineraries. 2.    Works in tandem with the Head of Upper School to update student handbook policies and expectations. 3.    Ensures that Bayside’s Code of Conduct and Honor Code are upheld with fidelity in the Upper School and serve as a model for lower divisions. 4.    Conducts student elections and training for the Honor and Discipline Councils in addition to overseeing all council hearings. 5.    Serves as a resource for teachers and staff who express concerns for student...

The Head of Lower School is a member of the Administrative Team, and reports directly to the Associate Head of School. The Head of Lower School takes leadership responsibility and accountability for all activities involving students and faculty in 1st through 4th grades.
