Scope of Work: Twelve Month Position
SUMMARY
Prince Avenue Christian School (PACS) is a ministry of Prince Avenue Baptist Church (PABC), and the faculty and staff’s conduct reflects on the church and school. Therefore, this employee agrees to conduct herself or himself in a Godly manner at all times and be under the authority of the school administration and PABC and abide by the policies and statement of faith thereof.
OVERVIEW
This is a specialized, professional position facilitating the recruitment of PACS students.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop a network of contacts within the existing PACS parent pool, extended families and friends of PACS, and the local community to identify prospects for admission.
· Aid in developing marketing and recruitment strategies for PACS to include interfacing with the school’s staff and faculty.
· Aid the admissions director in designing marketing materials and literature and distribute them to network contacts and prospective parents of PACS.
· Schedule and conduct campus tours.
· Schedule and coordinate student shadows.
· Work with prospective families to ensure applications and required forms are completed and submitted in timely manner.
· Operate within departmental budgetary guidelines and coordinate with admissions director for financial aid inquiries from prospective families.
· Coordinate with the PACS business office to ensure tuition, incidentals, and other fiscal matters are thoroughly discussed with prospective parents.
· Development, implement, and manage a new family welcome program to include coordinating with current parents to provide a support network for new families.
· Provide information in response to data calls for admissions recruitment information (inquiries, tours, shadows, applications, acceptances, conversion rate, etcetera).
· Schedule, coordinate, and conduct new student entrance testing.
· Performance evaluation includes specific expectations regarding the number of students to be enrolled during the contract period through the use of a network of contacts. Performance will be reviewed periodically through conferences and written reports.
· Receive assignments verbally, in writing, and in electronic form with considerable latitude for determining methods and procedures to accomplish objectives.
· Perform work independently with limited supervision by the admissions director.
Qualifications
· A committed Christian who is active in an evangelical church ministry.
· Bachelor's degree.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, students, coworkers, and the general public regardless of race, age, sex, disability or political affiliation.
· Maintains strict confidentiality and safeguards sensitive information in accordance with company policies and ethical standards.
· Be competent in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
